Here’s What Founders Actually Need to Scale
Let’s get right to the point: the AI hacks being sold to founders and consultants are trash.
Every “guru”, course creator, and consultant is rushing to help you “leverage AI” by teaching you how to:

- Generate LinkedIn posts faster
- Write email sequences automatically
- Create lead magnets with ChatGPT
- Reply to comments and DMs with an AI bot
Yep, those tools can definitely create more content. If you like sounding like a robot who washed down a business jargon dictionary with a gallon of Red Bull.
But is more content what you really need? You’ve already got a waitlist, but can’t take on another client without working on Sundays and missing (another) of your kid’s soccer games. How does more (crappy) content help fix THAT problem?
You’re not stuck because you need more content. You’re stuck because you’re drowning in delivery.
You Can’t Scale Yourself
If you’ve built a successful consulting firm,, you already know how to get clients. You’ve probably established a voice and a brand that AI cannot mimic. You don’t want to outsource your thought leadership that made you successful in the first place.

I’ve Been There – and I Got Out
I’ve founded and exited six businesses before becoming a full-time Scaling Up coach and then transitioning to AI consulting. During that time, I’ve had dozens of conversations with founders, business owners, and consulting firm leaders who needed leverage to scale, wanted to use AI, but were getting terrible advice on where to start. Everyone is being sold on “all-in-one” AI platforms, plug-and-play AI content generators, or AI “agents” that promise to “AI-ify” your expertise into a neat package you can deliver easily.
But that is the wrong answer.
These tools are never as simple as they seem, never do what they promise, and risk your reputation with false, generic, or sloppy outputs that require more time to correct than to generate on your own.
The solution is not to plug in an AI tool. It’s systematizing your standard deliverables and processes—then automating them with the right, curated AI stack.
I’ve run a consulting business. I’ve built assessments and scorecards and strategic frameworks over and over. I know what it feels like to spend Sunday afternoon formatting a deck while watching a football game.

The first step is to understand exactly how your operational process works, identify standard practices and deliverables, clean-up data sources and inputs, and THEN determine where AI can speed things up, add efficiency, or increase clarity.
Yes, every client’s data and context is unique and you need to embed your judgement and insights. But, when the operational processes are consistent, AI can take over the tedious tasks that don’t require your expertise to complete.
In other words, you do the thinking, while AI does the tasks.
